Keee, great coloring and shading... Arrr, advance critique engouraged! ^_^ If I had to suggest an improvement, I would say a little more contrast in the coloring/shading of her belt. Her shirt goes from bright to dark, but the belt sorta stayes this brown mid-tone. Other than that, everything is awelsome, good job defining her skin and muscle structure in the arms and legs. Very schwe.

Awesome shading on the arms. I haven't played RE4 yet, durnit, but I wanna. SO BAD.

Oh my gosh, AWESEOM! I thought the lineart was aweseom except for how that one hand is at the side, but it looks even better coloured! WOW! You worked so hard on it, it looks. I love how your colouringk has been improovingk so well lately. SO GREAT! I especially like the job you did shadingk and highlightingk her skin, it looks so passable. So shirt looks so good too.

You've done a nice job, but since you ripped the pose from a certain well-known artist, you should give them credit.

Oh wow! Thank you for taking the time to comment after looking at my piece! Ashley is a cute girl, I think, by nature- she’s just a little frightened :-D The pattern in her skirt gave me a lot of trouble- but the result is nice, no? I was touched to see someone new appearing to comment about my work

However, I couldn't tell if I found it insulting or not :-D I was certain that I mentioned about not knowing where the pose originally came from; but it is apparent (from checking both versions of the picture) that I must have thought I typed it, when in actuality I only talked about it with a Deviant Art Buddy of mine. My sincerest apologies for forgetting that- must have been in my sleep depraved state that I missed it.

You see, I remembered this pose from somewhere. I'm almost positive it was in a collection of art, a book of (As is apparent with your accusation, you've mentioned a well-known artist) some kind- but anything about the book escapes me. However, if you would please tell me the title of the book, as well as the artist- I will be certain to give them due credit (and of course run and check the local art store for said book and see similarities). :-D

However, I am almost positive that this pose has been recreated many times. It is not all that uncommon: these are deep characteristics of sadness and fear. Simple things like the way the hands and feet are positioned- all things that have been done millions of time; just go looking :-D

I assure you that I will look at my end of the world for the book- and we will see :-D However, I don't think it was very kind of you to use the terminology of "RIPPED" as if I had stolen, or abused another person’s art. In fact, I find it very offensive and hurtful.

I look forward to hearing about this artist, and this book.

Agreed about the pose. I've seen people *sit* like that before, so if I do the same.. am I copying them? Nice reply to the comment - I don't think I would have been able to respond so nicely.

Yay! thank you very much for seeing the advance critique- I am always very critical about my own work (even the works of others XD) and it is so GREAT when other people really dig their elbows in and tell me what they think XD So THANK YOU VERY MUCH XD

I see what you mean with the belt- I am going to fix that shortly- as well as add some blood to her elbows and stuff- since in the story she IS wet with blood- part of the reason the background is jut black and RED- trying to gte the blood thing. If I could, I world cast the picture in like- the same colors, maybe, but with the faded and brittle look of an old movie? You know? Simply because the picture is trying to show a girl- who is serperating herself from everything aroud her- making it very bleack and the like XD Lol- but I AM going to do the belt thingie.

OMG- the ARMS and LEGS are my most favored part XD They make me happy inside XD So VERY happy XD They ARE awesome! I've been experimenting with that recently- just because I think I should- for growth- and I really like the obvious difference then simple- round shading. It adds more definition to the image. :-D

Yup- I'm tooscared to xD I'll admite- the game is terrifying XD The graphics are so great- and the hero :dreamy sigh: Leon... I have a crush on him...

Anyway- I have my brother play it- and I watch- but I still scream like a little girl- it's funny because I can wrestle- hold my own with my 3 HUGE brothers- strong guys- but when it comes to playing a Video games with crazy,. babbling things in it- I get terrified XD Specially the chainsaw man XD :scoops away words and spoilers and puts them in a bag and locks it in the cupboard:

You know- the arms are my FAVORITE part! The make my inside squirm with joy at the sight- (happy :-P) They are so awesome, I just look at that picture and feel happy inside. I've been practicing with them for a little whlile now, just on some sketches with pencil? I mess around for a little while, and figure out a few things... There are still so many things I have to work on xD Even with girls XD Like the hips and stuff XD I think this turned out okay though :-d

The pattern on her skirt was hard XD I fiddled around with that alone- for like.... 45-60 minutes.. It was really hard to come up with something halfway decent- bt in the end... I like it a lot XD

And I think I'm going to add some blood and stuff to her XD But I dunno yet- cause the story... well- yeah! I HOPE you get the game soon- an play it (unlike the sissy me XD). It's a GREAT game!
